The School of Advanced Studies joined the Pangasinan State University family as they officially launched the PSU-DOST 1 Food Innovation Center at PSU Bayambang Campus on August 11, 2018. This unit is a joint project of the university and the Department of Science and Technology to provide facilities for researchers to reinforce the food innovation industry.
DOST Secretary Dr. Fortunato T. Dela Pena was invited as keynote speaker of the inauguration ceremony. Moreover, PSU and DOST Officials led the ribbon cutting of the center and were astounded by the products showcased.
SAS and other PSUnians will benefit this center as technical and support services for a sustainable development of processed food is fully- served by the university. The university truly aims to have strong research culture and technological transfer for its students and other stakeholders.
