Discovering the latest trends and challenges in the field of education, Dr. Rosario DL. Valencerina, Executive Director of Pangasinan State University – School of Advanced Studies (PSU-SAS) together with Dr. Jun S. Camara, Dean of College of Teacher Education (CTE) – PSU-Lingayen Campus and a faculty member of PSU-SAS, presented their funded study entitled “ Research Preferences of Pre-Service Teachers of Pangasinan State University as Inputs to Master’s Degree Program” in the recently concluded 5th International Conference on Future Education 2022 held via virtual conference last June 16-17, 2022.

FOE 2022 united diverse researches and case studies from all over the world, in parallel sessions while offering many networking and publishing opportunities.

Anchored by the theme: “Pedagogical Innovations During a Pandemic”, said event aimed to showcase the scholarly works of faculty researchers and to serve as a venue to elevate the standards of education.

Moreover, said innovative and informative Online International Conference reflecting the

direction of Education while offering a wide range of diversions to participants of all backgrounds was participated and consisted of more than 85 Academicians and Researchers representing over 16 different countries from across the globe.

Along with them were Dr. Teddy S. Fernandez, College Research Coordinator; Dr. Rhegina M. Tubera and Ms. Vladimir Marie E. Cabutotan, Campus Executive Secretary all from the innovative and high-caliber faculty members of the College of Teacher Education with their papers entitled “Academics or Socialization? Indirect Influence of Pre- College Preparation, Alignment and Spirality Among Filipino Pre- Service Teachers”; and “Domain-Specific Competencies of Pre-Service Teachers in Pangasinan State University: Learning Loss and Gains in Student Internship” respectively.

“The event is a big platform to appreciate researches in the field of curriculum, research, and development; education in the disciplines; student population; educational practice; pandemic-based educational research and intersections of education thus, considered as vital in shaping community development and progress”, said Dr. Valencerina.

The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM) is an entity that facilitates the purpose of knowledge transfer by constructing the career of the research fraternity, empowering decision making in the corporate sector and promoting on quality decisions for policy makers through academic Conferences.

Moreover, Pangasinan State University – SAS is now looking up to its faculty members to be active in research presentations not only in local and national conferences but also in international fora.
