The Pangasinan State University School of Advanced Studies aims to provide a holistic learning experience to its stakeholders more importantly the students. It is for this reason that the Supreme Student Council under the Office of Student Services has conducted the Induction Program of newly elected Supreme Student Council, Program and Specialization officers, and the very first Students’ Forum on November 20, via Zoom platform.
“As post-graduate students, we desire and deserve to be educated with nothing but the best teaching-learning experience. We can help make PSU-SAS become a more relevant, more resilient, and more responsible institution. We are here not to oppose the administration but to help in the implementation and promotion of the University’s mandate to provide quality education and excellent service delivery. We are here to serve as your bridge in ensuring that your voices are heard.,” said John Joseph D. Zarate, in his inaugural speech as the newly elected President of the PSU-SAS Supreme Student Council.
The said activity was attended by all PSU-SAS officials, faculty and non-teaching personnel as well as students. Right after the induction program, students were given the chance to ask questions and clarify their concerns. Dr. Rosario Valencerina, SAS Executive Director together with the Deputy Directors, Dr. Gemma M. De Vera, and Dr. Cristeta C. Dulos, shed light on all the questions and queries of the students.
