A Webinar on Empowering Teaching and Learning in the Now Normal Education held on February 5, 2022 was conducted by the PSU School of Advanced Studies. Spearheaded by the EDF 303 (Perspective of Education 1) students composed by the EdD students majoring in Guidance and Counseling, and Mathematics, under the tutelage of Dr. Ramil L. Dacal.
The webinar aimed to provide basic understanding about empowering teaching and learning in the now normal education; to elicit insights on the journey through various educational perspectives; to cite viewpoints and outlooks of the learners today in the current teaching and learning modalities; and to demonstrate knowledge of the changing roles and new challenges of teachers.
High-caliber resource speakers came from the pool of experts in the class namely Ms. Glenny Angelica Baterina, a guidance counselor from the University of Northern Philippines; Ms. Maria Florangel Salazar, assistant professor from Pangasinan State University-Binmaley Campus; and Mr. Dave Patrick Ruiz, an instructor from the Mariano Marcos Memorial State University.
